Kayaking in Halong Bay has been resumed
As of May 5th 2017, Halong City Administration has allowed most cruise operators to resume its kayaking program.
Entrance and Sightseeing Fee Increase for all overnight cruises from 1 April 2017
Effective from 1 April 2017, Halong Bay's entrance and sightseeing fee will be adjusted, according to Halong Bay Management Board. Following the new fee policy - Decree 4278/2016/QĐ-UBND, each passenger will be surcharged 140,000-180,000 (about US$7-9) for 2 day 1 night trip and 340,000 -380,000 (about US$17) for 3 day 2 night trip. This fee increase applies for all cruises visiting Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. Travellers whose trip date falls into this period will receive our email notice of the surcharge and fee increase.

Halong Bay to offer free wifi in sightseeing points
Quang Ninh province is implementing its free wifi project that covers major caves and islands that receive tourists daily. Security camera will also be installed as part of the plan. Major sights such as Thien Cung, Dau Go and Titop Islands already have wifi installed while other anchoring areas such as Three Peaches Beach will soon have wifi covered.
