Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay
Morning

Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (pick-up not included in cruise price). Arrive in Ambassador Cruises - 1st Floor, Terminal – Halong International Cruise Port, Bai Chay Ward, Halong City.

Noon

Check-in at around 12:15, enjoy welcome drinks while listening to the cruise briefing. At 13:30, lunch will be served while Ambassador vessel cruises toward Halong Bay. You will pass the famous Fighting Cocks Islet, and Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves.

Afternoon

Stop to visit Luon Cave. You can choose to kayak or take a sampan boat to admire the this tranquil area. Later, the cruise takes you to visit Titov Island for swimming and hiking to the top for panoramic view of the  bay. For those who do not join the excursions, pampering yourselves at the spa or the outdoor jacuzzi pool is an ideal option.

Late afternoon

The cruise then anchors at Coconut Tree Island for overnight stay. Sunset Cocktails and canapes are served on the sundeck or at the Piano Lounge.

Evening

Savor a delicious seafood dinner at Ambassador’s restaurant. After dinner, relax and indulge in drinks and squid fishing or spa treatment after dinner. Overnight onboard.

Morning

Early risers can attend taichi session on sundeck to start off a new day. Enjoy morning coffee & tea with freshly baked pastries in the restaurant.   • The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
  • Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate. Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
  • An extra charge of USD 25.00 per extra bed if required to set up in the cabin for 02 days/1night program or USD 35.00 per extra bed for 03 days/2 nights program (already included in children rate). An extra charge of USD 10.00 per baby cot for 02 days/1 night program or USD 15.00 per baby cot for 03 days/ 2nights program if require. This extra service is subject to Ambassador Cruises availability.
  • The child rate for children from 4 to 12 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. In case the child occupies the sole cabin, the rate for adult is applied
  • Peak season surcharge : Surcharge of $50 per person per night applies for travel date on 24th December and 31st December. Surcharge of $30/person for travel during Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025). Surcharge of $30 per person per night travel during 7 April (Hùng Kings' Festival), 30 April (Vietnamese Reunification Day), 1 May (Labor Day), 2 September (Vietnam Independence Day).

Dear Jean, Please be advised that the shuttle bus is only available around the Hanoi Old Quarter. We can not pick you up directly from Noi Bai International Airport as this location is so far away from the city center. In this case, we can arrange a private car to collect you in the early morning and take you to the Hanoi Old Quarter for 20 USD/2 people. - By shuttle bus: 35 USD/person
- By private MPV: 180 USD for your group. 

For your child, if you are pleased to have them sit on your lap, we will not charge for the shuttle bus. Alternatively, if you prefer them to have their own seat for more comfort, we will provide a baby seat and charge the same as an adult seat.

You can book a round trip transfer and stay in Halong for 1 night then return to Hanoi by our shuttle the next day but you will need to take a taxi to the cruise port to wait for our bus. We can arrange private car from Halong to Noi bai at 120usd/car for 02 people and you can expect the meeting time at around 14.45pm. If you dont want to use the private transfer you can request sharing bus back to Hanoi + private car from Hanoi center to Noi bai which costs less price. Please be advised that President cruise will add Peak Season Surcharge for travel date from 20 Dec to 5 Jan thus if you do the tour on 19 Dec for 2 days, you will not be surcharged. Very special trip! We were surprised by the honeymoon decor in our room. Dinner was amazing. We were really blown away by the service. Everyone was polite and accommodating. Can't use enough words for this trip!

We felt like royalty on Ambassador Cruise. The staff warmly welcomed us at the port, helped us with luggage, served excellent food matching our diets, guided us to the attractions, and made sure we enjoyed every moment onboard. Caitlyn was the best host ever. Our room was large and offered a stunning view. Activities were great. Kayaking was very relaxing and fun. This trip was more than we expected. Look no further. Book it!

The team of Ambassador cruise were amazing. Thank you Filipino, Camille, Ezekiel for taking care of us. The room was nice with view of the bay. The program was interesting. Massage service was great too. Overall, we had a very memorable time.

My family and I stayed for 1 night on Ambassador cruise. The view was gorgeous. The ship itself was large and thoughtfully appointed. Our accommodation was spacious and with good amenities. The program was full of activities. Kayaking, visiting a cave, swimming, sunset party, all great.

Such an unforgettable cruise trip. View were amazing. The service was top notch. The staff was caring and friendly. Camille went the extra mile, especially when my mother was sick. She deserved a bonus. This was a great team and experience. We will recommend it!

The trip on Ambassador Cruise surpassed our expectations. It was our honeymoon and the staff made us so special with a great room and lovely cake. Activities were interesting.

First cruise trip and it was unforgettable. The location was beautiful and so was the ship. The tour was smooth from start to finish. The activities were well organized and timed. The food was plenty and tasty. Attentive and friendly staff.
Wifi was bad. More activities onboard if possible.

Not going on a cruise when visiting Halong Bay Vietnam is a real shame. We recommend Ambassador Day Cruise for everyone. The service was outstanding, couldn't be better. Don't miss any chance to see the whole bay, the itinerary was well organized. A huge thanks to Ambassador crew for such a wonderful cruise trip. See you soon, definitely come back.
