La Regina Legend Cruise offers deluxe accommodation with state-of-the-art facilities and an exciting itinerary in Lan Ha Bay. Officially put into operation in August 2018, the 5-star vessel wows travelers not only with its outlook but also its excellent service.
There are 27 thoughtfully appointed cabins with a private balcony and ensuite bathroom where you can enjoy the utmost comfort and natural indulgence. Wooden furniture, air-con, TV, minibar, safe box, wardrobe, bathroom amenities, life vests,... are all provided in each suite. La Regina Legend is among the few cruises offering extra large cabins in the bay (from 45sqm upward).
The itinerary in Lan Ha Bay brings you to the most stunning areas such as Dark - Light Cave, Trung Trang Cave, Viet Hai Village, Ba Trai Dao Beach. You will float on the kayak to get through the cave, cycle on the island, visit the natural cave with stalactites, or swim in the crystal-clear water.

Arrive at La Regina private lounge at Tuan Chau Pier, the speed boat takes you to La Regina Grand cruise, enjoy welcome drink and listen to the safety briefing from cruise manager.
AfternoonThe ship sets sail to Lan Ha Bay while you savor a sumptuous lunch in the restaurant. The first stop is at Dark - Light Cave where you can kayak or leisurely sit on a sampan boat rowed by a local and watch the tranquil scenery. After that, you can immerse in the emerald sea water around the cruise before coming back to the cruise. Ready for Happy Hour and cooking demonstration with a Vietnamese traditional dish.
EveningDinner will be served on the top deck (if weather permits) or in the elegant Halong Restaurant. After dinner, squid fishing or spa (extra fee) is upon your request. You may want to order some drinks from the bar and enjoy the night scenery of Lan Ha Bay. Overnight onboard.

Taichi class on the top deck may take your fancy while you get up early for dawn. Enjoy breakfast and prepare some belongings for the day trip. The day boat picks you up and cruises to Cat Ba island. You have around 30 minutes to visit Viet Hai Village - a local village nestled in the dense jungle and mountains. Here you can watch the rustic landscape and know more about the life of local people. Then, enjoy lunch in the village, or on the day boat.
AfternoonDay boat cruises to Ba Trai Dao - one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in Lan Ha Bay. Swim and kayak around the beach, then come back to La Regina Grand at around 16:00. Free time until dinner.

- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4 - 11 will pay an extra 75% of adult rate.
- Children aged 12 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $45 per adult and $35 per child per night applies for travel date on 24th December and 31st December, Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025).
- On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)
- Shuttle bus service: $30/person/round trip. Pick-up location: Hanoi Old Quarter area.

- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates.

Facilities, food, and planning are looked after little by little. Commendable to the staff, who met our vegetarian needs.
Ha Long seawater is a bit polluted. Picking up trash around the beach is also necessary.

The service was professional. Halong landscape is picturesque. Room was spacious. Bathroom was spotless. Cruise manager, Mr. Nick, was more than an employee! All our needs were pampered. His staff was also very attentive. Looking forward to revisiting La Regina Legend.

Staff are accommodating. You can ask for their help and they respond immediately. Most staff speak English fluently. Neat rooms and extremely comfortable beds.
Menu doesn't include drinks. We wanted to make sure we stayed on the 2D1N ship like the ad said. Only take time to sleep and leave the ship all the time.

Spacious room with large bathtub. We did 2 night trip. Day 2 is the best. We had a buffet breakfast, kayaked through caves, cycled around the village, had lunch, and swam. Day 2 seemed less busy, which is ideal for solo travelers like us.
Everything was nothing special when eating on Ha Long Bay. Meat dishes were overcooked. Tuna salad like canned tuna. Bun Cha is a very delicious highlight.

Booked a cruise via Halongbaytours.com and we found it to be a good deal. Phoebe offered us a Queen Suite room and it was incredible. We couldn't stay in room long enough due to transfer time and excursions. Nick is a thoughtful and informative tour guide. He gave details about each location we stopped at. Smooth communication makes the trip more meaningful. We love nice staff because they worked hard. Please be advised that Wifi on board is unstable in remote areas. It's much better to put down your phone and enjoy the bay view.
