About Athena Luxury Cruise
Operated since mid-April 2017, Athena Cruise seeks to deliver a one-of-its kind trip to the natural world heritage site of Halong Bay. There are 4 types of cabins spreading over 3 decks: Executive suites, Elegant Suite, Terrace suite and Family Suite.
Restaurants and sundecks are both spacious and well-equipped to make sure you will enjoy every single moment being on board. You can spend your leisure time reading books or watching sunset with 360 degree view from the top deck, or indulge in luxury spa service.

Transfer to Halong Bay (shuttle bus or private car, not included in cabin price). Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port (SunGroup).
AfternoonTake a tender to the main vessel. Be warmly welcomed by friendly crews and receive a complimentary drink with brief introduction and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin and enjoy lunch while Athena Cruise moves to Halong Bay. Arrive at Bo Nau Cave area then transfer by tender to visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave) - the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong bay. Return to boat and continue the trip to Titov Island for swimming and hiking to the top of the mountain.
EveningIn early evening you can enjoy Happy Hour on sundeck, or learn how to make Vietnamese food with the cooking class. Later dinner will be served and followed by free time for dinner activities such as squid fishing, watching movie, massage,...

Early risers can head to sundeck for a morning Tai Chi session. Light breakfast will be served, just before your visit to Luon Cave by a kayak or bamboo boat. Return to main board and free time to relax. Later check out of your cabin and enjoy a delicious brunch as the cruise heads back to pier.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.

- Free of charge for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults (No extra Mattress)
- The Child Rate for children from 4 to below 11 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults: 75% Adult rate (No extra Mattress)
- Two children below 11 years stay in a private cabin are charged at 100% of the full cabin rate.
- Peak season surcharge : Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $50/adult and $40/child applies if guests stay overnight on December 24th and/or December 31st, and $15/person on Lunar New Year (16, 17, 18, 19/02/2026)

May I ask about the shuttle bus service? Is it possible to go from the airport to the port on the first day, and then from the port to the city on the second day?"
Dear Erica, I wish to advise you that if you wish to go from the Airport to the Cruise pier, we can help to provide the Private transfer option. We highly recommend you should take the flight if you land Noi bai at around 7.00 - 8.00 Am or Cat Bi at around 10.00 Am. Later time might cause late checkin for the tour. Are there any specific timings for the complimentary shuttle to operate ? Also is the pick up and drop off to Hanoi airport?
Dear Lopa, I wish to advise you that we do have complimentary transfer Hanoi - halong - Hanoi with Athena Cruise. However, our sharing bus does not pick up or drop off at the airport.
