Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay
Noon

At noon, arriving at Paradise Elegance Cruise and enjoying welcoming drinks as well as safety introductions from the staff after completing all check-in procedures at Paradise Suites Hotel, you are served a hearty lunch at Le Marin Restaurant while the cruise is sailing on Halong Bay. The first stopover is Titop Island where you can conquer the top of the mountain and admire the panoramic view of Halong Bay or relax on the beach. Later, the cruise progresses to Luon Cave - a peaceful area with a uniquely formed cave. Guests can take a sampan boat or kayak to discover the area. 

Early evening

Don’t forget amazing onboard activities like sunbathing, watching sunset or joining the Happy Hour program and a cooking class, and listen to the live music by a Filipino band at L'Odyssée Sundeck or Piano Lounge before having a sumptuous dinner (live music except for Monday).

Evening

Dinner will be served at Le Marin Restaurant at 7 pm. In the evening you will enjoy live music at Le Piano Bar, mingle on sundeck, watch movies, fish squid, or relax in the room.

Having saved beautiful pictures and unforgettable memories, you should get back to the cruise around 9 am to complete check-out. While having a light lunch, it is great for visitors to admire Thien Cung Cave, Dau Go Cave, Ga Choi Islet on the way back to Tuan Chau Marina. Around 10:30, let’s say goodbye Paradise Elegance Cruise and finish an amazing trip.

At 8:30 - 9:00, our shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel for 2.5 hour bus trip to Halong Bay (pick up available in Hanoi Old Quarter only and for a fee).

Afternoon

Morning

Tai Chi is organized on sundeck, followed by light breakfast. Transfer to Paradise Explorer tender for day excursions. Your first stop today is Me Cung Cave. You can witness beautiful years-long stalactites and stalagmites and learn about one of the most ancient caves in Halong dating back to 10,000 BC - 8,000 BC. Then back to the Paradise Explorer and relax.

Afternoon

Lunch is served on Paradise Explorer. In the afternoon take a trip to Trinh Nu Cave. Here you can explore the stunning stalactites, or kayak around towering cliffs (additional charge). Return to Paradise Elegance Cruise.

Evening

Second dinner at Le Marin and evening activities.

  • From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates

  • The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
  • Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate. Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
  • An extra charge of USD 25.00 per extra bed if required to set up in the cabin for 02 days/1night program or USD 35.00 per extra bed for 03 days/2 nights program (already included in children rate). An extra charge of USD 10.00 per baby cot for 02 days/1 night program or USD 15.00 per baby cot for 03 days/ 2nights program if require. This extra service is subject to Paradise Cruises availability.
  • The child rate for children from 5 to 12 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. In case the child occupies the sole cabin, the rate for adult is applied
  • Peak season surcharge : Surcharge of $50 per person per night applies for 24 December and 31 December 2024.

Dear Mariela, Paradise Elegance Cruise does not include bus service. It is USD 32 per person for round trip with pick up and drop off at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. The bus cannot drop you off at Hanoi airport so we can arrange a connecting car to pick you up on the way then go directly to the airport. - Some cruises need a tender from the pier to the main boat. It will take around 15-20 minutes to transfer

- The overnight cruises normally start at around 11:30 - 12:00. There are 2 cruises that leave a bit later at 12:00 - 12:30, they are Doris Cruise and Erina Cruise

- The cruise lounges are in either Halong International Cruise Port or Tuan Chau International Cruise Port

Dear Rebecca, Thank you very much for contacting us. The cabin is 27sqm which is quite small for 3 adults but if you are okay we will still try to put an extra bed into the cabin. The cost is 500 USD/3 person/1 deluxe balcony (double bed + extra bed) excluding transfers. If you are looking for more comfort, you can take 2 cabins instead. It costs 340 USD/cabin for 2 persons and 310 USD/per cabin for 1 person excluding transfers. You can fly to Hai Phong, then take a taxi to Halong and stay there overnight, or fly to Hanoi and book a hotel in the Old Quarter, we offer shuttle buses that pick you up at any hotel in the Old Quarter. If you book your transfer with us the details will be as follows: Pick up from Hanoi Old Quarter: 8:15-8:45am. If you stay outside of the Old Quarter we can make some exception such as for Sheraton or Intercontinental Hanoi with pick up time at 8:00am. Drop off after the trip: Cruise trip finishes around 11:30-12:00 and you will reach Hanoi between 2:30pm-3:00pm. Our bus can only drop off in Hanoi Old Quarter. If you wish to book a flight after the cruise trip please book one after 5:30pm to avoid rushing between places. OR you can fly from Hai Phong which is closer to Halong Bay. We do not offer direct bus to the airport but our van can continue to the airport after dropping off guests in downtown Hanoi. Dear Mr. Tyler Elliott, Thank you for your question. Hai Phong Airport will be closer to the cruise, however, it has fewer flight options. Please note that all the overnight cruises depart at noon (around 11:30 - 12:00) and it takes around 1 hour from Cat Bi Airport to the cruise pier so it is fine if your flight that arrives at 10:20 is on time and you can leave the airport right away. However, I think it is very risky as if your flight is delayed, you will miss the trip. Maybe can you please consider staying in either Halong, Hai Phong or Hanoi the day before and take the cruise trip the following day? Hi, For 2-day Paradise Elegance Cruise, I saw peak season surcharge of $50 per person per night. When is this paid? I didn't see during check out process. My date is Dec 29, 2020 for 2D1N trip. I returned to the Paradise Cruise for 2nd experience after my first one in 2020. It's great that my doing a lot of research paid off, and I decided to go back to a place I know delivers excellent quality as it used to. The staff made an effort to please us. The food was well served and beautifully presented too. Plenty of activities to join in. The night was still too young with the boat when we participated in squid fishing which was so much fun. Special thanks to Bella hosted us like VIP couldn't recommend it enough.

All in all it was a perfect experience on the boat. I went on the trip with my family and it had everything we needed. The lunch, breakfast, brunch were in buffet style with lots of options to fill the stomach. The dinner was a five course set menu which changed each night on 2 nights we stayed in. All the staff go above and beyond to look after us during the times.
