Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor by noon. Check-in onboard, enjoy a complimentary welcome drink and listen to the safety briefing before checking in the cabin.
AfternoonEnjoy lunch in the restaurant while the cruise sets sail for Lan Ha Bay. The ship crosses hundreds of majestic limestone islands then drops the anchor at a secluded area. In the afternoon, you swim and kayak on the bay for 1.5 - 2 hours. Back to the cruise. Join a sunset party with finger food on the top deck. You can also watch the cooking class with a traditional dish of Vietnam or book a massage at reception.
EveningDinner is served. After that, free time to order drinks at the bar, enjoy a massage treatment after an active day, or fish squid.

Dawn lovers cannot miss the spectacular and tranquil scenery in the early morning in Lan Ha Bay. Try out a Taichi session on the top deck or sip a cup of hot tea or coffee. After a light breakfast, visit Dark-Bright Cave by a sampan boat rowed by a local. Then, back to the cruise to relax a bit before checking out and enjoy brunch in the restaurant. Arrive at Tuan Chau harbor at around 11:45.

Early birds may want to join a Taichi class to boost your energy for an active day. Enjoy a light breakfast before being picked up by a small boat. Arrive at Cat Ba Island. Visit Viet Hai Village by bike on rustic paths to see dense jungle and learn about local life. Electric car is available if biking does not take your fancy. Back to the day boat to cruise to further part of Lan Ha bay.
AfternoonLunch is served. Enjoy kayaking at Tai Queo cave area - a tunnel cave. Then, the ship proceeds to Ba Trai Dao Beach for swimming. Back to Sapphire Cruise at around 16:00.
EveningDinner is served in the restaurant. Free time to join activities.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4 - 10 will pay an extra 85% of adult rate.
- Children aged 11 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $15 per person per night applies for peak season from 24.12.2024 to 5.1.2025 and on 24th December and 31st December, Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31 Jan, 1 Feb 2025), 30 April & 2 Sep.
- On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)

Do I need cruise insurance to go on an overnight (2 day + 1 night) cruise with your company? My travel insurance said I had to ask the company! They stipulated that if there was a medical team onboard I would need specific cruise insurance. Other travel insurers state that if cruise is less than 3 days - no cruise insurance required.
