Our shuttle bus picks you up at your hotel (if you use our transfer, the pickup location is 2 km from Hoan Kiem Lake). Start a 2.5-hour drive via the expressway to Tuan Chau Marina.

9:30

Arrive at Tuan Chau. Welcome onboard! While you sip a fresh welcome drink, the cruise team has a briefing and safety instructions before you start a 7.5-hour journey on Lan Ha Bay.

11:30

A hearty buffet lunch is served with a bunch of Vietnamese food, Western food, and local seafood.

13:00

JadeSails Cruise drops the anchor at Dark-Bright Cave, one of the most untouched and beautiful areas in Lan Ha Bay. The sampan rowing boats take you through the cave, witness the million-year-old stalactites, and enjoy the tranquility in the lagoon.

14:30

The cruise progresses to Frog Pond area in Lan Ha Bay for kayaking and swimming.

15:45

Back to the cruise. Watch the cooking demonstration by a talented chef and learn how to make the most traditional dish in Vietnam - Spring Rolls.

16:30

Sunset Party is ready on sundeck. You can unwind on the sun loungers, order some beers, make friends with other passengers, or simply admire the magnificent sunset. Jacuzzi pool or spa is another idea to relax while the cruise sails back to Tuan Chau.

17:20 - 17:30

Disembark on Tuan Chau Marina. Get on bus back to Hanoi.

19:30

The bus drops you off at your hotel. Trip ends.

Unfortunately, we cannot pick you up directly from the Luxury Serviced Apartment Vinhomes D’Capitale – Zen Homes as it is outside this area. For your inquiry about the weather, the beginning of January is the winter period in Ha Long Bay, with temperatures generally ranging from 15-20°C. The weather is typically cool, cloudy, and while there might be some fog in the morning, it is usually not heavy. If you will be arriving on the Celebrity Solstice, the easiest option is to take a taxi from the cruise terminal to the check-in point. It's two different port so I trust you will have to make the private transfer from Halong International Port to go Tuan Chau marina if you wish to join the boat. Dear Mr. John, I'm pleased to inform you that in the unlikely event that the typhoon, storm causes the trip to be cancelled, we have two options for you:

  • We will be happy to assist you in rescheduling your trip to a new date (if possible)
  • If you are unable to change your date, we will proceed with a cancellation and a refund.

Please be advised that we can only assist with these options if there is an official announcement from the local government to prohibit all boats from operating. Rest assured, we will keep you informed of any new developments as they arise.

Dear Freney Uribe, I am sorry JadeSails Cruise does not offer a pickup in Halong. We recommend taking a taxi for the most convenient transfer to the cruise. From there, you can take a taxi to the Halong International Cruise Port, where your Celebrity Cruise Ship will likely be docked. Since your hotel is located outside this zone and closer to the Tuan Chau harbor, taking a taxi would be the most convenient option for your pickup. My wife, daughter and I are staying at the Pan Pacific Hotel in the Ba Dinh District. Can we be picked up in the morning at the hotel and taken to the cruise in Halong Bay on Sunday, January 5th and returned in the early evening on the same day to the hotel as we have to pick up our luggage and go to the airport for a flight to the USA at 11:45 p.m. ?

Hello. How much is the cabin price that I can wash or rest after a jacuzzi or sea swim? Is there a separate fee for kayaking? I have a round trip from Hanoi, so can't I go back to Hanoi the next day after the cruise? If there is an additional fee, how much is it? Please check if I can use a one-way, nine-seater limousine that goes back to Hanoi.

Dear Winnie, Regarding your concern, I can assume that you are kayaker lover and wish to spend as long as time to enjoy and explore Halong bay. However, with the duration of day cruise, we cannot extend the time for you to do the activity even you wish to pay extra. Only overnight cruise can make it happened for those with a whole extra days, we can extend the time for you to enjoy it. We also do not provide a journey with only kayaking activity in Halong bay, always have additional activities besides kayak following with cruise's time on and off board. I hope you can understand.
