Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay
Morning

You will be greeted at your hotel in the Old Quarter to take the new highway to Tuan Chau Pier (if booked with our transfer service).

Afternoon

Be welcomed onboard, enjoy the welcome drink while listening to a safety briefing and a short program introduction from the cruise manager. Lunch is served in Tonkin restaurant on the third floor while the cruise heads to the Dark-Bright Cave area. From 14:45 to 16:30, you start your kayaking trip or sit on the sampan boat rowed by the local people to visit the cave. At 17:30, the cruise moves to the sleeping point and puts the anchor overnight.

Evening

A cooking demonstration with Spring Rolls or Fruit Carving will be held before a sumptuous and romantic dinner is served. After dinner, try your luck with squid fishing, gather around to play cards or dominos, or book a massage service to rejuvenate your body after an active day. Overnight on board.

Morning

Wake up early to get a stunning sunrise view on the sundeck or join Tai Chi class to gain full energy for the new day. Back to the cruise at around 9 am, you pack and have your luggage transferred to the harbor in advance. After the check-out procedure, it is time for getting a full stomach with a full breakfast in the dining area and enjoying the gorgeous view of the bay before leaving the boat. Back to Tuan Chau Marina at around 11:30 am and get on the bus to Hanoi (if book our transfer).

Joining the Taichi session on the sundeck, you have a chance to witness the tranquil beauty of the bay in the early morning. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 8:30. Start your day trip by speed boat to reach Viet Hai Village – an ancient local village on Cat Ba island. You can choose to ride a bike or visit the village by electric car, learn about the daily life and culture of the locals.

Afternoon

Back to the boat, you have lunch while the boat runs to Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches) Beach – one of the most beautiful natural beaches on Lan Ha Bay. You have around 1 hour for kayaking and swimming in the Ba Trai Dao area.

Evening

After kayaking or swimming, back to the boat to wait for the sunset or join the cooking demonstration. Dinner set menu will be served at 19:15. Overnight on board.

Dear Castor, A cabin is normally for 2 guests and if you are 3, you can choose either 1 cabin with an extra bed or 2 separate cabins. The option with extra bed costs less than 2 cabins because the 3rd person will need to pay for a single cabin if taking a separate one. The cruises may start/finish at Tuan Chau Marina or Halong International Cruise Port in Halong. It will take around 2,5 hour transfer between Hanoi and Halong. Almost all the cruises start at around 11:30 - 12:00 and the finish time may be from 10:30 to 12:00 depending on each cruise. Please be advised that the shuttle only picks up and drops off in Hanoi so if you want to go to Tam Coc after the cruise, you will need to go by a private car or by public bus at the bus station.. Nice crew.
Rushed itinerary was not enough 24 hours as informed before. The dinner was nothing special. The boat seemed to move about 3 hours, the remaining time stood still.

Exploring Lan Ha Bay by overnight cruise was a perfect experience with us. The cabin was designed in traditional style and equipped full of necessary amenities.
The meals were not as expected. Also, it was said to be a special adventure but only moved between a few destinations instead.

The ship itself was fantastic with classical style and modern facilities. OUr cabin was comfortable. The sundeck was extra large with a wonderful view of the bay. The service by the staff was top-notch. The 1 night was interesting but we wish we had chosen two. Overall I highly recommend everyone.

The vessel was thoughtfully equipped and decorated. The architecture was unique and beautiful. Our room offered a private balcony with a nice view.
Food was not as expected. The vessel did not go much on the bay.

Booked 2 nights with Indochine Cruise. Activities were great. Kayaking on the bay and cycling around the village was fun. The cave on the island was small but interesting to see. The staff onboard was lovely.
