Full Itinerary
You will be greeted at your hotel in the Old Quarter to take the new highway to Tuan Chau Marina (if book our transfer)
AfternoonBe welcomed onboard, enjoy the welcome drink while listening to a safety briefing and a short program introduction from the cruise manager. Lunch is served in Tonkin restaurant on the third floor while the cruise heads to the Dark-Bright Cave area. From 14:45 to 16:30, you start your kayaking trip or sit on the sampan boat rowed by the local people to visit the cave. At 17:30, the cruise moves to the sleeping point and puts the anchor overnight.
EveningA cooking demonstration with Spring Rolls or Fruit Carving will be held before a sumptuous and romantic dinner is served. After dinner, try your luck with squid fishing, gather around to play cards or dominos, or book a massage service to rejuvenate your body after an active day. Overnight on board.
Wake up early to get a stunning sunrise view on the sundeck or join Tai Chi class to gain full energy for the new day. A light breakfast is ready from 6:30 am at the restaurant before your excursion to Trung Trang cave on Cat Ba Island. Back to the cruise at around 9 am, you pack and have your luggage transferred to the harbor in advance. After the check-out procedure, it is time for getting a full stomach with a full breakfast in the dining area and enjoying the gorgeous view of the bay before leaving the boat. Back to Tuan Chau Marina at around 11:30 am and get on the bus to Hanoi (if book our transfer).

- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. - More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 7 days prior to check-in: 10% of total rates

- The FOC rate for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 5 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.

- Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.

Normally, on the 2nd day of a 3D/2N itinerary, you will be transferred to a day boat and explore the surrounding attractions while the mother boat picks up new passengers of a 2D/1N cruise. The cruises may start/finish at Tuan Chau Marina or Halong International Cruise Port in Halong. It will take around 2,5 hour transfer between Hanoi and Halong. Almost all the cruises start at around 11:30 - 12:00 and the finish time may be from 10:30 to 12:00 depending on each cruise. Our Junior cabin is spacious and nicely designed. We love kayaking. The food on buffet was varied but not excellent. The drink was a bit pricey. Maybe more drinking water in the room.

We booked the Executive Suite. It was amazing, very comfortable and well-appointed. We rate the food 4/5. The itinerary was relaxing with kayaking and visiting a cave. The jacuzzi pool was nice but a bit small and it would be better if it were placed outside with the bay view.

First time on Halong bay and Indochine was a great choice. My girlfriend loves the cabin, especially the balcony. We enjoyed food very much. Halong is stunning. A big thanks to the guide who is knowledgeable and very kind to take photos for us during excursions. Would recommend this cruise!

The boat was fully booked on our trip. If you are in need of privacy, maybe a small ship is better. Food was nice but we prefer the set menu. Staff was nice and hospitable.

It was not as new as the picture anymore. Although the design and decorations are nice, the ship needs some upgrades. Food was the highlight. The kayaking trip was nice but the excursion on the second day was average. We wish we could see more of the bay.
