Morning
Get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee) and start a 2.5 hour drive to Tuan Chau Marina.
AfternoonCheck in onboard. Enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the safety briefing by the cruise manager while the vessel starts cruising to the bay. Lunch is served in the restaurant on 2nd deck. The first stop is Luon Cave. You will kayaking through the cave and enjoy the peaceful scenery and majestic mountains here. The second stop is Titop Island for hiking or swimming (Towels are supplied). Back to the cruise, join a cooking class and enjoy Happy Hour promotion (Buy One Get One Free) at sunset time.
EveningSet menu dinner is served at 7:15 pm. After dinner, you can try your hand at squid fishing or mini-golf, spa service, etc.

Morning
Start your new day with Tai Chi session on the sundeck and refill your energy with a light breakfast in the restaurant. The cruise proceeds to Sung Sot Cave – the biggest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Return to the vessel and get ready for check out at 9:15 am. Savor a hearty brunch buffet in the dining room while admiring the magnificent view of Halong Bay on the way back to the harbor. Disembark at around 10:45 am

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

Booking Policy
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 7 days prior to check-in: 20% of total rates
- From 6 to 3 days prior to check-in: 50% of total rates.
- Less than 3 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
Cruising Policy
- Check in on board: 12:15pm.
- Check out: 10:45am.
- Return Hanoi: 2:30pm.
- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
- Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
- Peak Season Surcharge: Surcharge $45/adult and $35/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on 24/12, 25/12 and Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025).
- Holiday Surcharge: Surcharge $30/adult if guests stay onboard on Independence Day Sep 2, 2024, and $50/adult on April 30.
- On the second day (2-night itinerary), you will travel on day boat and do not have access to mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon.

Dear Daniel, Thank you very much for your sharing. Catherine Cruise has not launched their 3 day 2 night itinerary yet. So, I would love to suggest you Essence Grand Cruise which is of similar quality but their 3D2N itinerary has been running for months with very good feedbacks from our guests. As I have checked, Catherine Cruise is available for the Premier Suite cabin on the second floor on Mar 26 for 3 days 2 nights. It costs US$ 940/cabin with US$ 35/person for shuttle bus round trip. For Catherine Cruise, we offer shuttle bus Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi at US$ 35/person. As the bus can only pick you up and drop you off in the Old Quarter (including Period Hotel), we can arrange you a connecting car to the airport at US$ 20 extra and you can reach the airport at around 3:00 - 3:30 PM
May I ask what time is your flight and if it is domestic or international?

Thank you for contacting us and it is our honor to assist you with your Halong Bay trip. Regarding the pickup, our bus only picks you up in the Hanoi Old Quarter area. If you will stay in Halong City, it is most convenient for you to take a taxi to the pier. The exact address of the cruise is Block 42, Tuan Chau Marina, Halong, Quang Ninh. That was our second time traveling to Halong Bay. Compared to the previous one, wonderful moments happened the same. Every corner on the boat was cleaned regularly. Happy Hour and cooking demonstrations were parts that my parents were really into. Joana was so kind in helping us set up a cozy party for the window seat.

Such a dream trip. Catherine was super large and clean. The interiors and design were exceptional. The service was 5-star. Can't compliment the crew enough. Wish we had booked 1 more night.
The excursions are crowded but it is not the cruise's fault.
