After a 4 hour drive from Hanoi to Halong, you will arrive at Tuan Chau Island in the midday. Enjoy the warmest welcome from Captain and crew with a refresh drink. Then, take a couple of minutes to listen to cruise introduction and safety instructions before checking in your cabin.
Afternoon:A delectable lunch will be served about 1.00 pm. Take a rest for an hour and save energy for interesting activities in the afternoon. Explore Sung Sot Cave - Hiking up and down 600 steps to the magnificent limestone formations of the biggest and most marvelous cave in Halong Bay. Enjoy Happy Hour in bar area or a spa on the top deck at the late afternoon. Pre-dinner cocktail will be served on sundeck with assorted nuts and canapé. Participate in La Vela cooking class under the attentive instruction of our top chef, to discover the Vietnamese cuisine of traditional spring rolls.
Evening:7.30 pm is the great time to experience a sumptuous dinner on board. Do not forget to take some beautiful shots with Captain and manager in ao dai - Vietnam traditional dress. After that, let’s enjoy or relax at your leisure. Watching a movie night, trying fishing squid, or relaxing at Beauty Spa services is some good suggestions for you.
Early birds can join Tai Chi class on sundeck.
After light breakfast we will visit Titop Island, either swimming or climbing for birdeye view of Halong Bay. Later enjoy full buffet breakfast.. Check out and settle the bills.
Shuttle bus picks you up from your hotel and set out on the journey to Halong Bay. Arrive at Jo Pub - Paradise Suites Hotel on Tuan Chau island. Check in and transfer to La Vela Cruise.
Afternoon:Enjoy a sumptuous set lunch onboard as the cruise set sails. Explores Sung Sot Cave and hike up the stair for a bird eye view of Halong Bay. Get back to the vessel and continue sailing. Participate in our cooking class with the top chef and learn more about Vietnamese cuisines.
Evening:Enjoy happy hour. Dinner will be served soon after. Free evening on your own and overnight on board.

Wake up early for our Tai Chi lesson on sundeck - get your body moved and enjoy the pristine air in Halong Bay. Transfer to our day boat and cruise to the most secluded path of the Bay. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village and chat with the local people and learn about floating lives.
Afternoon:Return to day boat for lunch. Cruise to Ban Chan beahc where you can spend the afternoon swimming in the emerald water. Later get back to main boat.
Evening:Enjoy dinner on board and evening activities: bar, spa, squid fishing.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

Excellent cruise, friendly staff, good food.
It was hard for me to choose which one I liked most. La Vela was not our first choice anyway, but the one I picked originally was fully booked so La Vela came up. It turned out it's the best possible trip I could have decided.
