Day 1: Hanoi - Tuan Chau - Lan Ha Bay
Morning

Our driver pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter (surcharge) and start a 2.5-hour drive to Tuan Chau Harbor. After doing the luggage check-in at the port, being transfered to Erina Cruise by a tender boat. Welcome onboard. Enjoy welcome drink and meet crew team in the safety briefing before the trip. 

Afternoon

Enjoy lunch while the vessel cruises to Lan Ha Bay, crossing uniquely shaped islets such as Con Vit islet (Duck Islet), Thumb islet. Erina Cruise drops anchor at a secluded area for swimming. You can opt to stay onboard, immerse in the jacuzzi pool or sunbathe on the sundeck. Then, back to Erina Cruise and join sunset party. A cooking demonstration will take place at 18:30.

Evening

At 19:00, enjoy a sumptuous dinner in the cozy and intimate space of the restaurant. After dinner, you can play games, fish squid, book a massage service (surcharge) or relax in the cabin.

Morning

Get up early for dawn or the Tai-chi lesson on the sundeck. Have a light breakfast while Erina continues to cruise to the beautiful bay. Stop at Dark - Bright Cave area - one of the most beautiful and tranquil areas in Lan Ha Bay. To explore the cave, you can choose a kayak or comfortably sit on a sampan boat rowed by a local. Return to the ship and prepare for check-out. After check out your cabin, back to restaurant to enjoy brunch. Back to Tuan Chau Harbor at around 11:30. Bus picks you up to go to Hanoi (surcharge). Arrive in Hanoi at around 3:00 - 3:30 pm.

Morning

Have breakfast and prepare some belongings before being transferred to a day boat for the day excursions. The day boat picks you up at 8:30 - 9:00 and progresses to the deeper part of Lan Ha Bay. You get on Cat Ba Island and start the trip to Viet Hai Village. Take a biking trip for around 5 km around the village, you have a chance to watch the dense jungle, enjoy the fresh atmosphere and meet the locals. Electric car is another option in the tour.

Afternoon

Back to the day boat. Enjoy a Vietnamese-style lunch on the day boat. In the afternoon, you have around 1 hour for kayaking. Then swim at one of hidden beaches in Ba Trai Dao area. Return to Erina cruise at around 16:00 - 16:30. Freshen up and relax. You can join onboard activities with new passengers, enjoy a tea break on the sundeck or simply watch the magnificent sunset on the bay.

Evening

Enjoy dinner. Free time for night activities.

Cruising Policy

  • The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
  • Children from 4 - 7 will pay an extra 50% of adult rate. 
  • Children from 8 - 11 will pay an extra 75% of adult rate. 
  • Children aged 12 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
  • Peak season surcharge: Surcharge $30/adult and $15/child for bookings on Christmas 24/12/2024, New Year 31/12/2024 & 1/1/2025, Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025), and Independence Day (1-2-3/9/2024).
  • On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)

  • Cancellation by the cruise for reasons related to a situation of force majeure, such as government restriction or regulation, health, natural disasters, acts of God, etc., customers will be refunded the amount depending on circumstances.
  • If the tour has yet to take place, full refund will be made.
  • If the tour is ongoing, partial refund will be made. No refunds or exchanges can be made while the tour is ongoing and the customer decides to opt out. If you do not use any of the service, no compensation will be given for the unused portion of the tour.

We do not offer a direct bus to the airport, so after the shuttle bus drops off all guests in the Hanoi Old Quarter, we will help you arrange the extended ride by a private car to the airport. The bus will drop you off on the way back where the private car waits for you (2 drivers will contact themselves to take you to the airport smoothly and you will reach Hanoi Airport before 4:30pm as said). Dear Wagner, Thank you for your question! Please kindly check the tour plan for 3 days and 2 nights in the Itinerary Section. Regarding the transfer service Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi, the shuttle bus costs $30/ person; the private sedan car costs $195/car - Max: 2 adults + 1 child; and the private MPV costs $205/car - Max: 4 adults. Incredible vacation! We watched the sunrise from our President Suite before starting our excursions. It was the highlight of our trip to Ha Long Bay. Warm service from Kim - we can't thank them enough.

One bathroom door was missing. Food was boring. We spent more time transferring than sightseeing.

Outstanding
The ship is in good condition. Facilities are well-maintained. The journey felt special. Mrs. Kim provided us with all the details about the trip. The restaurant staff worked hard to prepare delicious food for us. We are grateful to them. We enjoyed sipping cocktails at the bar. We strongly recommend staying for 2 nights.

We were completely captivated by the breathtaking beauty of Erina cruise and Ha Long Bay. The quality is first-class. Captain Andrew answered all our questions. It was anchored in a good location with very few other boats around. We could enjoy kayaking in a peaceful environment. We wished we could have stayed for another week rather than leaving after just 2 days. It's sad to have to leave.

Commend hospitality and helpfulness of the staff (we would like to mention to Andrew). Went smoothly. They paid special attention to all guests. Available vegetarian menus. We appreciate that.
Not dislike seriously but would like to offer some suggestions to improve the quality of the boat: 1/ The cruise company should enforce policies to prevent noise disturbances from other travelers during dinner and late at night. 2/ Happy Hour offered a buy 2 get 1 free discount, but the prices are still high compared to general spending in Vietnam. 3/ Coffee and tea weren't free during meals. It would be better if the company included these in the meal price to avoid extra charges. 4/ While we understand that activities are optional, we were disturbed by the loudspeaker reminder early in the morning. Overall, it was a great experience, but these improvements could make it even better.

Luxury stay on Erina Cruise! Spacious and beautiful room. Sumptuous and tasty meals. Caring and hospitable staff. Kim was outstanding. Everyone treated us like family. The room was so comfortable. The trip to the cave, kayaking, swimming were great. The village was a bit boring yet nice biking activity. Recommend!

Booked the President Suite and can’t complain anything about the room. It was spacious and provided all things we needed. A panoramic view, jacuzzi, private terrace, soft bedding and fully-equipped bathroom. The staff was super helpful. A shout out to Andress and Kim for taking care of us.

Large boat with modern facilities. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The view from the room was amazing. All the staff was friendly and went the extra mile. Kim, Andrew, everyone did a good job. They were available any time we needed. Erina Cruise was valued for money. Should try!
