About Nostalgia Sails Cruise
Set to launch in October 2026, Nostalgia Sails is the newest addition to the Nostalgia Cruise fleet, designed for travelers seeking elegance, intimacy, and authentic Vietnamese charm.
Sailing through the iconic Halong Bay and the tranquil Lan Ha Bay, the cruise offers just 26 spacious cabins, all with full ocean views and private balconies. Each cabin is thoughtfully appointed with premium amenities, a sofa lounge, Wi-Fi, and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the bay.
On board, traditional Vietnamese aesthetics meet refined Indochine elegance. Guests can expect panoramic dining on the upper deck, a rooftop pool with uninterrupted bay views, a serene spa sanctuary, and a stylish sunset lounge.
Departing from Tuan Chau Marina, Nostalgia Sails Cruise takes you on a 2 day or 3 day journey with plenty of activities, from kayaking to swimming, squid fishing, Taichi, and more. Nostalgia Sails promises a graceful and deeply relaxing adventure at sea.

Start a 2.5-hour drive from Hanoi Old Quarter to Tuan Chau Marina (surcharge applied). After check-in and a welcome tea, transfer by speedboat to Nostalgia Sails. Enjoy a welcome drink and cruise briefing before setting sail through the spectacular landscapes of Lan Ha Bay.
AfternoonExplore Ao Ech, a secluded area known for its pristine natural scenery, by kayak. Continue cruising to Tra Bau, the overnight anchorage, and enjoy the peaceful landscapes of Lan Ha Bay. Join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration or enjoy Happy Hour while watching the sunset.
EveningSavour an elegant fusion dinner combining French and Vietnamese influences. Spend a relaxing evening on the sundeck or at the bar, with options to try squid fishing or enjoy board games. Overnight onboard.

Dawn-lovers may join a Taichi session on the sundeck to relax muscles and enjoy the fresh air. Light breakfast is served in the dining area. Then, visit Thien Cung Cave, or "Heavenly Palace," renowned for its impressive chambers and intricate stalactite formations. Back to the cruise at 9:30 am to freshen up before checking out the cabin. - Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4 - 11 sharing same cabin with parents will pay an extra 75% of adult rate.
- Children aged 12 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $40 per adult and $30 per child per night applies for travel dates on 24th December, 31st December 2025, and 16 February 2026 (Lunar New Year Eve). Surcharge of $30 per adult and $20 per child per night applies for travel date on Lunar New Year (17, 18, 19/02/2026)
- On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
