Day 1: Hanoi - Tuan Chau - Lan Ha Bay
Morning

Shuttle bus picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee). After checking in at Tuan Chau Pier, a tender transfer you to La Pandora cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the safety instruction while the cruise starts sailing to Lan Ha Bay. 

Afternoon

A hearty lunch with Vietnamese cuisine is served in the restaurant. After lunch, you rest a bit before getting off the boat for a trip around Ong Cam Area. Here you can kayak or swim in the crystal clear water of Lan Ha Bay. Then, back to La Pandora for Sunset Party and cooking demonstration with a Vietnamese traditional dish.

Evening

You will take a bicycle trip through rain forests along Viet Hai Village, visit a local house, and know more about the daily life of local people.

Afternoon

Lunch is served on the day boat. After taking a rest, continue to visit Van Boi Area - one of the most untouched areas with pristine beaches in Lan Ha bay. Enjoy kayaking or swimming. Return to La Pandora Cruise at around 16:30. Relax or free time for activities onboard.

Evening

Dinner is served. Join night activities of relax in the cabin.

  • Child from 10 years old: Charged 100% of the given price.
  • Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $25 per person per night applies for travel date on 24th December and 31st December, and $15 per person on Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025)
  • On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)

Dear Dylan, The shuttle ride takes around 2.5 hours from Hanoi Old Quarter area. After the trip, you will reach Hanoi between 2:30-3:00 pm. Our bus can only drop off in Hanoi Old Quarter. If you wish to book a flight, please book one from 5:30 pm to avoid rushing between places. We do not offer a direct bus to the airport but we can arrange a private car waiting for you on the way back to connect the ride to Hanoi Airport. The surcharge for this trip to the airport is $10/person and you will reach the airport at 3:30 pm. Should you need further assistance about your upcoming trip, please feel free to ask! Dear Viji, Thank you for contacting us! I would like to answer your questions as follows: (1) After the cruise, the bus will drop you off in the Hanoi Old Quarter/ Hanoi Center at 2:30 - 3:00 PM. After dropping all guests, our van can continue to the Hanoi Airport and you will reach the airport at 4:00 PM. The surcharge of this trip to the airport is USD 10/ person. Or if you prefer a direct transfer from Halong to Hanoi Airport, we can also arrange a private car transfer at USD 110/ car for 2 persons. (2) The shuttle bus picks up and drops off clients at hotels within the Hanoi Old Quarter, so please kindly book your hotel in this area. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Enjoyed stay out! Our butler, yes you can specify, was a friendly and gentlemanly man who always cared about our feelings. Food was made from very fresh and delicious ingre. The crew tried to meet all different demands of each guest. Very happy.

Kevin was a great tour guide. He was easy going to talk to, always energetic, and took good care of everyone. The food was tasty, and I liked how they had different activities to keep things fun. A la carte dinner and late breakfast were my favorite part. The room was clean and had lots of windows, so I could enjoy the view from my bed. I had a really good time and would love to do it again.

Good Ha Long Bay tours on La Pandora. Tours were long enough to take in small boat trips and relax. Kevin is an experienced local expert with a wealth of knowledge in English communication skills and all information about the bay. I’ll for sure return to chat with him more. The food was also top quality.

Booked 3 days 2 nights, all expectations were met. Well-organised itinerary including different food and activities. Large comfortable rooms Danni was fantastic and equally funny and spoke good English with lots of useful information.
Transition at harbor took a long time. Waiting area, hot and crowded.

We had a memorable trip with La Pandora and Hung, who was a friendly and energetic host from picking us up at the hotel to providing information and taking care of us throughout the trip. The boat was new and beautiful with bedrooms, private bathrooms & balconies, dining areas, and an airy terrace. We especially enjoyed the buffet with its wide selection of food and drinks (paid a small fee for drinks). The sunset view in front of the boat was truly breathtaking and made our experience unique. I’m very happy with this cruise choice and will definitely return for a 3-day trip to enhance our experience.

Our tour guide Mr Hung - was a friendly and attentive guy. He was always there with everything we needed - the best part of our trip. Overall experience was fantastic. Our family members were all pleased with it.
Wifi was weak and it wasn't even available in our room.

We had a 2-day cruise and wished we could extend our stay. We met Hung and David, who were extremely nice and gave us useful suggestions throughout the trip. They spent the whole time looking after us. Couldn't thank them enough. The cruise ship itself was great. Tasteful food and lots of activities to do. Cabins were comfortable and provided all the amenities we needed. If you're seeking a great experience in Ha Long Bay, we highly recommend you book this ship.

Our time at La Pandora was truly amazing! Kevin is the nicest and most knowledgeable guy I have ever met which made our stay even better. David was important in balancing our sightseeing and relaxing time and ensuring we were properly cared for. The food was also great we'd like to mention. Highly recommend this experience.
