Cruise itinerary
- 3 Days/2 Nights
Tour guide and driver pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (transfer not included in price). Drive for a distance of 3 hours to Halong. Contemplate the wild beauty of Vietnam with lush green paddy fields, grandiose mountains and romantic rivers. Arrive at Tuan Chau Pier.
Afternoon:Get on the boat and enjoy welcome drink, listen to safety instruction and check in your luxury cabin. After a while, move to the dining room for seafood lunch while contemplating breathtaking landscapes of the bay with thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth.
The first destination of the journey is Cua Van Fishing Village and enjoy a pleasant bamboo boat row to through the village with a museum and a school among floating homes. You can also opt a kayak to discover the village (complimentary for 2 night trip). Then, visit Tien Ong cave - the ancient cave with fossil evidence of human life at 10,000 - 8,000 BC. Back on board to enjoy sunset cocktails and canapé.
You may enjoy the cooking class to learn how to make a traditional dish of Vietnam.

After having a Tai Chi class on the sundeck and breakfast, transfer to our day boat (Sunset cruise) and sail deeper into Halong Bay. Visit Surprise Cave and spend around 1 hour here to witness the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the boat and sip a cup of "cafe sua da" (iced milk coffee) before joining a kayaking trip to explore the marine life on the bay on your own.
Afternoon:Visit a floating pearl farm and learn how pearls are cultivated here. Later, return to the mother boat and rejoin activities on board.
EveningDinner will be served in the restaurant. Free time with squid fishing, drinking cocktails from the bar, massage. Overnight on board.

- Children aged 12 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
- Admission fee: A mandatory surcharge of 35 USD per person applies for 1-Night itinerary; and of 44 USD per person applies for the 2-Night itinerary. If not otherwise stated, surcharge applies for cruise-only or (package) tour bookings including a Halong Bay cruise. Entrance fees are subject to change without prior notice.
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of 100 USD per adult and 50 USD per child applies for cruise (or tour) bookings on Christmas Eve (24 December) & New Year’s Eve (31 December).
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check in: 30% of total rates.

1 night in Halong Bay on Violet Cruise was incredible. Vinny was the best host and we were so lucky to be taken care of by the team. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The cabin was spacious, luxurious and cozy. Food was fantastic with plenty of it. The trips to the cave, the island, and the floating village were all interesting and we learned much about the bay thanks to the knowledgeable guide. Can't recommend this cruise enough.
This is exactly what we have expected! Small boat, few cabins and guests. Nothing was too much trouble. The service even surpassed our expectations. Kayaking while watching the monkeys on the islands was overwhelmingly interesting. We also enjoyed hiking up the mountain and visiting a fishing village. Very memorable and fantastic trip!

Halong Bay and Violet Boat were a perfect combination. The bay was breathtaking and watching islands and water while being on the boat floating around was fantastic. Violet was small and perfect for a relaxing trip. Food, drinks, staff on board were excellent. Our cabin was comfortable. Would come back soon!

Such a perfect choice when choosing Halong Bay as the last destination of our trip. VIolet cruise made it even more memorable. There are 6 cabins on the ship only and we felt most intimate and luxurious.

Such a good cruise line! We stayed on Violet Cruise for 2 nights and enjoyed the trip very much. The friendliness and professionalism of the crew were impressive. The food was brilliant.
Only 6 guests on our trip and up to 18 crew members, which made us feel very personal. The cruise manager, Mr. Big even made it more wonderful when being so helpful and super friendly. The team went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Food was fantastic and well presented.
