Morning
Get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee) and start a 2.5 hour drive to Tuan Chau Marina.
AfternoonCheck in onboard. Enjoy a welcome drink and listen to the safety briefing by the cruise manager while the vessel starts cruising to the bay. Lunch is served in the restaurant on 2nd deck. The first stop is Luon Cave. You will kayaking through the cave and enjoy the peaceful scenery and majestic mountains here. The second stop is Titop Island for hiking or swimming (Towels are supplied). Back to the cruise, join a cooking class and enjoy Happy Hour promotion (Buy One Get One Free) at sunset time.
EveningSet menu dinner is served at 7:15 pm. After dinner, you can try your hand at squid fishing or mini-golf, spa service, etc.

Morning
Start your new day with Tai Chi session on the sundeck and refill your energy with a light breakfast in the restaurant. The cruise proceeds to Sung Sot Cave – the biggest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Return to the vessel and get ready for check out at 9:15 am. Savor a hearty brunch buffet in the dining room while admiring the magnificent view of Halong Bay on the way back to the harbor. Disembark at around 10:45 am

- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

Booking Policy
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.
Cruising Policy
- Check in on board: 12:15pm.
- Check out: 10:45am.
- Return Hanoi: 2:30pm.
- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
- Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
- Peak Season Surcharge: Surcharge $45/adult and $35/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on 24/12, 25/12 and Lunar New Year (28, 29, 30, 31/01/2025).
- Holiday Surcharge: Surcharge $30/adult if guests stay onboard on Independence Day Sep 2, 2024, and $50/adult on April 30.
- On the second day (2-night itinerary), you will travel on day boat and do not have access to mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon.

Dear Daniel, Thank you very much for your sharing. Catherine Cruise has not launched their 3 day 2 night itinerary yet. So, I would love to suggest you Essence Grand Cruise which is of similar quality but their 3D2N itinerary has been running for months with very good feedbacks from our guests. For Catherine Cruise, we offer shuttle bus Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi at US$ 35/person. As the bus can only pick you up and drop you off in the Old Quarter (including Period Hotel), we can arrange you a connecting car to the airport at US$ 20 extra and you can reach the airport at around 3:00 - 3:30 PM
May I ask what time is your flight and if it is domestic or international?

If you will stay in Halong City, it is most convenient for you to take a taxi to the pier. The exact address of the cruise is Block 42, Tuan Chau Marina, Halong, Quang Ninh. Our silver wedding anniversary became truly special with candles, balloons, and flowers decorated in our cabin, what an intimate room! We loved it! The room that we stayed in had an overall view of the bay, a lovely terrace, and comfortable bedding. There were diverse options for breakfast, dinner really made us wonder. Housekeepers were very friendly and tried to adhere to strict hygiene standards to ensure a clean atmosphere. The panoramic bar allowed us to sip refreshing cocktails. The top-notch entertainment facilities were equipped and well-maintained like mini golf, karaoke, and squid fishing.
No mineral water during the trip, it was annoying that we still had to pay high prices for simple things like it. The common areas of Halong bay were so touristy, so we were not able to enjoy destinations inherently considered unspoiled. More than that, the sea floated with trash and debris, which can only be seen after the ship moored in the evening.

Never traveled by cruise before because of seasickness, but Catherine changed our perspectives. The ship moved stably on the calm water, amidst the fresh air and gentle sounds. The wonderful memories will stay with us forever.
The onboard services were generally expensive, we even had to buy mineral water at a high price. Until 11 pm, there was still loud music playing on the rooftop, so we had to ask for help from the receptionist.

A Halong Bay adventure could not be better. The splendid interior and functional amenities were equipped for all cabins. As soon as we stepped inside, we were amazed by the vastness of the cabin. A spacious room allowed us to enjoy every accommodation service as a luxury hotel. The crew was dedicated and went out of their way to help us. All the meals were great. A sincere compliment for the crew and manager.
