Early birds may want to join a Taichi class on the sundeck. Then, have breakfast and prepare some belongings for the day trip. Day boat picks you up at around 8:30 and moves to the deeper parts in Halong Bay. The first stop is Trinh Nu Cave area where you can kayak to discover the rocky mountains for an hour and a half.
AfternoonLunch is served on the day boat. Later, you will visit Me Cung Cave. Return to the mother boat and have free time until dinner. You can choose to join Sunset Party, Happy Hour, or cooking class, or simply unwind on the sun loungers on the top deck.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and send to us via email. Refund will be processed between 5-7 business days.

- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
- Children 11 and above must pay full fare as adult.
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge $50/adult and $40/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on December 24th and/or December 31st. Surcharge $25/person/night on Lunar New Year (16, 17, 18, 19/02/2026).

Hi, I'd like to know if the itinerary will be cancelled when the weather is extremely bad (e.g., there's a typhoon). If it is cancelled, will I get a refund or how that situation will be arranged?
Dear Feng, Regarding cancellations due to extremely bad weather, please note that local authorities make the final decision to cancel or delay tours for the safety of all passengers. Our policy for weather-related cancellations is as follows:
1/If the tour is cancelled with prior notice: A full refund will be issued.
2/If the tour is cancelled midway through: You will be charged for services already rendered, such as a shortened cruise, meals, or shuttle bus transport, depending on the specific circumstances.

The journey was fantastic. Lots of enjoyable activities. Mr. Lam did an excellent job. He always looked after all the visitors, and shared great information about the place. Other crew were all friendly and polite. Food was tasty and varied. The dinner show was a plus.
