Mon Cheri Cruise is set to depart at noon from Tuan Chau International Marina, around 2.5 hours from Hanoi. If you book shuttle bus service, the pick up time is between 8:30 - 9:00am at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Afternoon

Mon Cheri Cruise welcomes you on board with a complimentary drink. After the safety instructions, guests check in the cabin and the cruise starts cruising and explore Lan Ha Bay. You have lunch while the cruise passes stunning islets and islands. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.

Mon Cheri Cruise accesses Tra Bau Area where guests can kayak to enjoy the stunning view of Lan Ha Bay. Afterward, guests cannot miss swimming activity in the blue-jaded seawater or soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi pool of the cruise.

Afternoon

The itinerary says that the tour starts in Tuan Chau Island (which is in Ha Long bay) but the title says Lan Ha which is in Cat Ba island. Can you tell me which one the tour starts? We do have another trip booked for Cat Ba at the May Legend resort so we'd love to start and end our trip in Cat Ba island so we're looking for boat tours that ends up there. Thank you!

Dear Anh Jackson, Please be advised that Mon Cheri Cruise starts from Tuan Chau then you will take a speedboat to Lan Ha Bay to reach the cruise. The cruise can drop you off at Gia Luan Pier (Cat Ba island) then you can take a taxi to Cat Ba town on your own. There are two options for you to get to Gia Luan Pier with Mon Cheri Cruise below:

- Drop off at Gia Luan Pier after visiting Trung Trang Cave (around 8.30am), you will miss the brunch, no extra fee
- Drop off at Gia Luan Pier after brunch (10.30am - 11.00), the extra fee is USD 15 for 2 persons.

Dear Marisa, You can consider Cat Bi Airport in Hai Phong or Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi. Cat Bi Airport is closer, however, it has fewer flight options. Please kindly find more information for the transfer to the airport as follows:

(1) Transfer Halong - Cat Bi airport: USD 50 for 2 persons => You will reach the airport at around 12:30 - 13:00 and please book a flight after 14:00

(2) Transfer Halong - Noi Bai airport:
Option 1: Shuttle bus Halong - Hanoi center & connecting car to the airport: USD 50 for 2 persons => You will reach the airport at around 15:00 - 15:30 and please book a flight after 16:30
Option 2: Private car Halong - Noi Bai airport: USD 110 for 2 persons => You will reach the airport at around 14:00 - 14:30 and please book a flight after 15:30

The private car takes you around 2.5 hours from there to Hanoi Airport. If you go by bus, the bus drops you off at Hanoi Old Quarter area at around 2:30 pm and you can take a taxi to the airport which takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour more. However since we are travelling with our small 2 year old child, we would like to ask first about the security measures provided on the boat. For instance, can you provide a life vest for a 2 year old (11 Kg/90cm)? Are there any places on the boat, where a small child could easily fall overboard (like wholes on the railings)? I would like to answer your questions as follows: 1) The cruise has a triple cabin for a maximum of 3 adults yet you have a total of 4, I suggest you take 2 Ocean cabins connecting for more comfort. 2) The shuttle bus does not pick up from Hanoi airport to Got Pier, Haiphong (cruise pier) yet we offer a private 7-seat car at a cost of US$115/car/way. It takes you around 2 hours on the new highway. You can book the shuttle bus after the cruise to get to Hanoi Center at a cost of US$15/person/way for more cost-saving. I hope this helps. Hello there! We plan to visit Ha Long Bay on 14/10/2018 - 15/10/201 8for 2 adults. Here are some questions we would like you to answer: 0. Are the any rooms for us? 1. Are there any free shuttle bus to transfer us from HN (city centre) - HL and HL -HN (airport) ?? 2. If any, how long does these trips take or else how much are the fare costs? Since we have to take the night flight on the end of the 2 day trip at Hanoi Airport, we have to make sure we have enough time to get back to the airport on 15/10/2018. 3. Are there any visa arrangement for our Vietnam tours? Thank you!

Dear Vipul Kabra, Thank you for your question and I am very glad to assist you with your trip. Yes, as it is only about 2,5 hours drive from Hanoi airport to Mon Cheri cruise, you would still have enough time to check in for the cruise at 12.00pm. However, the shuttle bus only picks up and drops off in Hanoi Old Quarter. Thus, you will need a private car to pick you up from Hanoi airport to go directly to the cruise port. At the moment we are also offering free bus for booking date from now until 30 April (travel date until December 2018). Normally it costs $35/person for this service. We plan to book mon cheri cruise on 5/17/2018 for 2 people and one 15 months baby. Is the baby counted as third person? I noticed for some cruises when we entered 2 adults + 1 child it did not show regular room but only family room options, which are almost double the price. Can we book Mon Cheri suite for our family? Besides, you can also choose the Connecting Ocean Suites on the first deck. The cruise offers a complimentary birthday cake if your day trip is the same as the birthday. The cruise was large and comfortable. Our cabin was on the second floor with a great view. The sea-view tub was excellent. Lan Ha Bay was breathtaking and peaceful. Kayaking on the bay was very relaxing. Last but not least, the cruise manager Tam and all the crew went above and beyond. We felt very happy with our choice. Thank you very much.
