Mon Cheri Cruise is set to depart at noon from Tuan Chau International Marina, around 2.5 hours from Hanoi. If you book shuttle bus service, the pick up time is between 8:30 - 9:00am at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
AfternoonMon Cheri Cruise welcomes you on board with a complimentary drink. After the safety instructions, guests check in the cabin and the cruise starts cruising and explore Lan Ha Bay. You have lunch while the cruise passes stunning islets and islands. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.
Mon Cheri Cruise accesses Tra Bau Area where guests can kayak to enjoy the stunning view of Lan Ha Bay. Afterward, guests cannot miss swimming activity in the blue-jaded seawater or soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi pool of the cruise.
Early eveningReturn to the boat and head up to the top deck to watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Join the cooking demonstration with traditional food and Happy Hour – BUY ONE GET ONE FREE at the bar.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.

Ask a questionFor the transfers do you do a pick up from Ninh Binh and then after the cruise drop at Hanoi? Also is there space to bring 2 large suitcases with us?

Dear Chanelle, The cruise can drop you off at Gia Luan Pier on Cat Ba Island. We have the following two options available:
- Option 1: You can be dropped off at Gia Luan Pier free of charge between 8:45 AM and 9:00 AM after the visit to Trung Trang Cave. Please note that you would need to check out after a light breakfast and would miss the brunch.
- Option 2: You can be dropped off at Gia Luan Pier after lunch for a fee of USD 15 for a group of up to 5 persons.

Hello, how safe is it to disembark from a cruise, and depart on an international flight from Hanoi airport at 7pm?
Dear Jennifer Rae Dobson, Generally, it is safe to disembark from the cruise and depart on an international flight from Hanoi at 7:00 PM. The Mon Chéri Cruise returns to the mainland around 11:30 AM, and the transfer to Hanoi Airport takes approximately 2.5 hours. Mon Cheri is a must-do in Halong Bay. Our family is so happy with our 2 nights on the bay. The cruise ship runs smoothly. Lots of fun activities like kayaking, cycling on the island, cooking class, etc. Jasmine, the cruise manager, and her team are exceptional. Rooms are very spacious. Food is yummy. Would love to come back.
Most amazing cruise! We were so confused about too many cruise companies out there but Mon Cheri was definitely our best choice. Nothing to dislike about this trip. The service, the food, and our bedrooms were excellent. Ann was the best host. We joined all activities, all were interesting. Just book it!
Good for family vacation. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The food was plentiful with great quality. Our kids had fun kayaking, cooking demonstration, and even tai chi. A big thank you to all the staff, cruise manager Jasmine, and Ducky! We will be back.
