About Nostalgia Cruise
Set sail in early February 2023, Nostalgia promises a deluxe cruising experience with top-notch service. With only 10 cabins, the cruise pays much attention to details not only of the interior and exterior but also of the service quality.
There are 4 room categories spreading out on 2 decks. All are well-equipped with an air-conditioned, mini bar, ocean-view bathtub and amenities, and a balcony with a table and chair. What could be better than taking a favorite cocktail or glass of wine and enjoying the spectacular view with your loved one from your private balcony?
The ship includes a spacious restaurant where you can savor a bunch of featured dishes coming from Vietnam or Western nations. On the same deck, you are invited to dip into the cool water of the swimming pool and feast your eyes with second-to-none scenery.
Sundeck is the best place to kick back and watch the dawn and dusk while the ship cruises through thousands of limestone karst. That is not to mention the serene atmosphere at night and in the early morning with the soothing Taichi session.

Our shuttle bus picks you up at Hanoi Old Quarter and starts a 2.5-hour drive to Tuan Chau Marina, Halong Bay. Be welcomed aboard with a welcome drink, then listen to the safety briefing from cruise manager. Enjoy lunch while Nostalgia Cruises moves further to Lan Ha Bay.
AfternoonProgress by bus to Trung Trang cave - the largest valley on Cat Ba Island. Then, back to the vessel and move to the second attraction - Tra Bau. It is time for you to immerse yourself in the crystal clear water before coming back for Happy Hour at 18:00. Relax on the top deck and watch the magnificent sunset view or join the cooking class with a Vietnamese traditional dish.
EveningDinner is served at 19:15 with the fusion Asian - Western cuisine. After dinner, you have free time to order drinks at the bar, try squid fishing, watch movies, or relax in your cabin.

Wake up early for dawn view and Taichi session on the top deck. Enjoy breakfast and pack your belongings before being transferred to the day boat and moving to Cat Ba Island. Get on Cat Ba Island. You can opt to ride a bike or use an electric car to discover Viet Hai Village - one of the most ancient villages on the island. Back to the day boat and enjoy lunch.
AfternoonSwim at an untouched area on Lan Ha Bay. Back to Nostalgia at around 17:00 and ready for Sunset time and Happy Hour.
EveningDinner is served. Freetime with onboard activities.
Dawn-lovers may join a Taichi session on the sundeck to relax muscles and enjoy the fresh air. Light breakfast is served in the dining area. The cruise stops at Ao Ech area - a quiet and calm place for kayaking and watching the limestone rocks. Back to the cruise at 9:30 am to freshen up before checking out the cabin. Enjoy a hearty brunch while the cruise back to Tuan Chau Marina. Disembark at around 11:30 am. Back to Hanoi at 15:00 approx.

- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:
- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4 - 11 sharing same cabin with parents will pay an extra 75% of adult rate.
- Children aged 12 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $40 per adult and $30 per child per night applies for travel dates on 24th December, 31st December 2025, and 16 February 2026 (Lunar New Year Eve). Surcharge of $30 per adult and $20 per child per night applies for travel date on Lunar New Year (17, 18, 19/02/2026)
- On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
