Our shuttle bus picks you up at Hanoi Old Quarter and starts a 2.5-hour drive to Tuan Chau Marina, Halong Bay. Be welcomed aboard with a welcome drink, then listen to the safety briefing from cruise manager. Enjoy lunch while Nostalgia Cruises moves further to Lan Ha Bay.

Afternoon

Progress by bus to Trung Trang cave - the largest valley on Cat Ba Island. Then, back to the vessel and move to the second attraction - Tra Bau. It is time for you to immerse yourself in the crystal clear water before coming back for Happy Hour at 18:00. Relax on the top deck and watch the magnificent sunset view or join the cooking class with a Vietnamese traditional dish.

Evening

Dinner is served at 19:15 with the fusion Asian - Western cuisine. After dinner, you have free time to order drinks at the bar, try squid fishing, watch movies, or relax in your cabin.

Wake up early for dawn view and Taichi session on the top deck. Enjoy breakfast and pack your belongings before being transferred to the day boat and moving to Cat Ba Island. Get on Cat Ba Island. You can opt to ride a bike or use an electric car to discover Viet Hai Village - one of the most ancient villages on the island. Back to the day boat and enjoy lunch.

Afternoon

Swim at an untouched area on Lan Ha Bay. Back to Nostalgia at around 17:00 and ready for Sunset time and Happy Hour.

Evening

Dinner is served. Freetime with onboard activities.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi
Morning

Dawn-lovers may join a Taichi session on the sundeck to relax muscles and enjoy the fresh air. Light breakfast is served in the dining area. The cruise stops at Ao Ech area - a quiet and calm place for kayaking and watching the limestone rocks. Back to the cruise at 9:30 am to freshen up before checking out the cabin. Enjoy a hearty brunch while the cruise back to Tuan Chau Marina. Disembark at around 11:30 am. Back to Hanoi at 15:00 approx.

  • The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
  • Children from 4 - 11 sharing same cabin with parents will pay an extra 75% of adult rate.
  • Children aged 12 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
  • Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of $40 per adult and $30 per child per night applies for travel dates on 24th December, 31st December, and 28 January 2025 (Lunar New Year Eve). Surcharge of $30 per adult and $20 per child per night applies for travel date on Lunar New Year (29, 30, 31/01/2025)
  • On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)

Dear Twee White, Nostalgia Cruise has only 10 cabins with 3 room types and King Suite will be the best view as it is located in front of the boat. I am sorry that there is no room with the bathroom for the sea view. You can have a look at Orchid Classic Cruise, a sister of Nostalgia to have room with a bath facing the sea. You can bring the luggage with you but you may decide to keep the bigger ones at the cruise reception hall to avoid the hassle of bringing them on board and off board. Dear Preston Haddon, The Princess Suite cabin is located on the first floor while the Queen Suite is on the second floor with a better view. The bathtub does not have a view of the bay. As there is no glass door or shower curtain in the Nostalgia cruise's bathroom, you can only use a tower to clean the floor if it's wet. Or please consider another cruise that has a separate bathtub and rain shower. For example you can consider Doris Cruise (https://www.halongbaytours.com/cruise/doris-cruise.html) as an alternative. The trip could not have been better. We chose Nostalgia over many other cruise options in Halong. They all did a great job, specifically Mr Dat explained everything to us easily and arranged a separate dining menu for our schedule. The staff divided us into small groups and assigned specific care to us. My waiter named Martin was very quick and created a comfortable atmosphere for all of us. There are a lot of activities to decide whether you want to join or not. To give you some advice, if you are fit enough, join them all. Or if not, give up some things and stay and relax on the boat. It was quite fun. There is also a swimming pool that can be adjusted in temperature.

Our waitress, Green, was the best part of the crew! She remembered all our names and even made me ginger tea when I wasn’t feeling well. The food tasted amazing and looked great. It was a really nice experience getting lost in the charm of Ha Long Bay.

We had a fantastic time exploring Ha Long Bay with just 3 days and 2 nights on this cruise. With only 10 cabins on the boat, it felt super quiet, and the staff really took great care of us. The bathroom was spotless and even had a bathtub with a big glass window, which made relaxing even better. The whole ship was stunning with its luxurious wooden design. Every crew member was amazing, especially VyVy, who went out of her way to make sure we were happy. The food was so good we were never hungry, and all the activities were safely organized. We were really satisfied with the whole experience.
