Check in at the waiting lounge at Tuan Chau Pier.

Afternoon

Embark on the boat and listen to the safety briefing from the cruise manager. After checking in your cabin, savor a hearty lunch in the restaurant when the cruise sails on Lan Ha Bay and heads to the first attraction. The cruise drops the anchor at Tra Bau Area where you can kayak or swim in the emerald water of the bay. Return to the cruise and head up to the sundeck to enjoy some fruits and snacks at Sunset Part. The Venus Sky Bar offers Happy Hour for a great drink deal. The chef will organize a cooking class to show you how to make traditional foods in Vietnam.

Evening

Dinner is served at 19:15. Then, you can continue to relax on the sundeck and order some drinks from the bar, give squid fishing a try, or book a massage service to rejuvenate the body. Overnight onboard.

The next stop is Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. You have a chance to cycle along the rustic way, visit a traditional house, try fish massage, and admire the tranquil scenery of the village. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or on the day boat.

Afternoon

The day boat cruises to Ba Trai Dao Beach - an isolated white sandy beach in Lan Ha Bay. You can play volleyball on the beach, sunbathe, or immerse in the crystal water of the bay. Back to the main vessel at around 16:30. Freshen up and relax in the cabin or join other onboard activities such as swimming, massage, cooking class, Happy Hour, etc.

Evening

Another delicious dinner will be served in the restaurant. Freetime for socializing, fishing squid, watching TV, etc.

  • The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
  • Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
  • Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
  • Peak season surcharge:
  • Surcharge $52/person if guests stay on board on December 24th and/or December 31st. Surcharge $25/person/night if guests stay onboard between 30 April, 1 May, 2 Sep, and Lunar New Year (16, 17, 18, 19/02/2026).
  • Surcharge $12/person on Saturdays of June, July, August.
  • Shuttle bus: $30/ person/ round trip. Pick up point: at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in front of Hanoi Opera House
  • On the second day you will travel on day boat and do not have access to mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon.

Dear Deva Jayesh Gor, Regarding your plans, I would like to inform you that our embarkation time is no later than 12:00 PM. Since your flight arrives at Hai Phong Airport at 10:55 AM and the travel time is approximately 1.5 hours, there's a chance you might arrive around 12:25 PM, which would be after the cruise departs. In this case, you may need to arrange a speedboat transfer from the pier - meeting point in Halong to the main boat, which costs $100 for 2 passengers, as the cruise does not dock directly at the pier. To make sure everything goes smoothly, we recommend booking an earlier flight arriving around 10:00 to 10:30 AM or perhaps scheduling your cruise for a later date. Kind regards, Tracy

Hi I want to book for 2 day and 1 night package for the month of august and I have concerns regarding the drop as I have departure from hanoi airport at 1605, would I able to catch my flight?

Dear Nancy,

Thank you very much for your question. If you take a private car from Halong to Hanoi Airport, the flight at 16:05 is okay because you will reach the airport by 14:00-14:30 with the private transfers.

If you take shuttle bus: you will reach Hanoi between 2:30pm-3:00pm. Our bus can only drop off in Hanoi Old Quarter. If you wish to book a flight after the cruise trip please book one after 5:30pm to avoid rushing between places. OR you can fly from Hai Phong which is closer to Halong Bay.

We do not offer a direct bus to the airport but our van can continue to the airport after dropping off guests in downtown Hanoi. The surcharge for this trip to the airport is $10/person and you will reach the airport at 4:00pm.

I remain at your disposal for any further information you might need.

Dear Fiona, We can help arrange a private car from the cruise pier to the airport which will go directly to the airport after the cruise, you will reach Hanoi Airport by 2:30pm. Dear Tracy Cai, If you can leave the airport by 7:00am, you can take a taxi to our office at 72 Hang Trong Street and then join the shuttle bus Hanoi - Halong at US$ 18/person. If you leave the airport by 9:00am, please consider a private car straight to the airport at US$ 110/sedan car for 2 persons. Dear Harinder, There are no official restrictions for luggage on board, however, there may be a limit of space on the bus and in the cabin. Dear Castor, A cabin is normally for 2 guests and if you are 3, you can choose either 1 cabin with an extra bed or 2 separate cabins. Good pick up in Hanoi. Welcome at the port was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our cabin was on the upper deck. It was large and very comfortable. The activities were varied. Love swimming and cave tour. Halong bay was magnificent.
Dinner could be improved, a bit rushed.

The ship was well maintained and included modern facilities. Our room was comfortable with large bathroom and all amenities we needed. The balcony was a must for the room. We enjoyed watching the bay from our cabin. Meals were well prepared with high quality and well decorated dishes. The excursions were interesting and stunning. Spa was good.
The second day started quite early. Maybe 2 night trip better. Long time transferring from the dock to the cruise.

The boat was well maintain. We booked a room on the second deck and its view was amazing. The balcony was a plus. All meals were included but drinks were charged and a bit expensive. Kayaking was nice but hope longer time.

Pick up in Hanoi by luxurious and comfortable bus. The ship was quite new. The staff was hospitable and helpful. Our room had a king-size bed, wonderful view, and large bathroom. We loved all the activities and excursions. Halong Bay was stunning.

Bean made our overall experience beyond expectations. Transfers were on time and smooth. Waiting area was clean and well equipped. Our cabin was stunning had the views were beautiful. Halong cuisine was delicious, with lots of seafood, along with a wide selection of spirits on bar. Especially we got a cake for our 25th wedding anniversary. They truly touched my heart.

I really enjoyed the cruise 3D2N. All are perfect as expected. The staff was responsible and responsive (John stands out the most). The reality was exactly what we saw online, luxurious and clean. Meals were always tasty and served right on time. Drinks, spirits were delicious and came with an extra charge that you had to pay at the end of your stay. Basic drinks were provided daily, but limited amounts. Threw a lot of activities such as swimming, sailing, cooking, fishing, tai chi and it was up to us whether we joined in or not.

They organized a pick up at 8 am in front of my hotel. Took me to a very modern and comfortable car. The design of the ship was outstanding from the others in Ha long. We loved our room. Bean and his team were great pioneers with their big efforts to make sure we were served and shared information. Excited about activities. Pampered me especially as I am a vegetarian. Exceeded our expectations for a cruise. From pickup to our return to Hanoi, no trouble with us. The crew provided attentive and friendly service, and cabin was fantastic. Our group of 5 had a wonderful time. Food was delicious, with a changing menu that let us try many Ha Long specialties. Big thanks to chefs and waiters for their great work.
Lounge at the port should be better that was the only thing I was not satisfied with.

I spent hours planning my trip going to Ha Long, so many options to choose from. I finally picked Venus cruise to get a closer look at Ha Long, and it was the best choice! The ship was exactly as pictured: modern, gorgeous, and incredibly clean inside.
Some of the staff didn’t speak any English, which was frustrating when we tried to ask for more water.
